Meet the Doctor

Dr. Erb received her Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 1979 and has been in private practice in Wilmington and Philadelphia since 1983. She is the author of many scholarly articles and contributed to the Test of Academic Performance. Dr. Erb has also spoken at many national and local events. She is widely known for her expertise in education, particularly in the areas of ADHD and learning disabilities.

Background

While Dr. Erb was born in Kinston, North Carolina, she grew up in Gainesville, Florida. Before moving to Delaware, she was the Principal of the Gainesville Academy, a private school for children with learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, and emotional problems.

In Delaware, Dr. Erb worked as the Learning Disabilities Specialist at DuPont Hospital for Children and for the Delaware Guidance Services for Children and Youth. She was the Educational Consultant to Catholic Charities for years and a Learning Disabilities Consultant to Pierce College.
